Performing music is exciting! When all of the feelings, images, ideas and stories in the music are shared, magical moments are created! It is important for students to perform frequently so they can develop artistic expression and demonstrate mastery of technical abilities.

Performing also helps students gain skills that are valuable in many other areas of life, including:

  • Memorizing

  • Concentration & Focus

  • Setting goals

  • Poise & Confidence

  • Expressing oneself clearly

There are many performance opportunities throughout the year to help your student develop these skills and give deeper focus to our weekly lessons, including group piano classes, recitals, public service performances through the Ohio MTA Out & About Programand the National Piano Guild Auditions.
